Breaking news on Pa.'s response to the coronavirus

March 23, 2020 | spotlightpa.org

Gov. Tom Wolf this afternoon extended Pennsylvania school closures until early April and issued a "stay-at-home" order for seven counties including Philadelphia and suburbs, Monroe and Allegheny. The order requires people to remain at home except for essential travel such as going to the grocery store.

The new measure comes as police across the state begin enforcing Wolf's prior order for businesses except those deemed "life-sustaining" to close their physical locations. You can stay updated with the latest case counts in Pennsylvania and a county-by-county map with our new live tracker.
