About the Data

This data was produced by processing voter registration files provided by the state of Pennsylvania. It was received on Nov. 17, 2025.

The voter registration file contains the name, voting precinct, party affiliation, and date last voted for each voter in the state. The counties included in the precinct map were chosen based on the availability of geographic data, with priority given to the most populous areas.

By seeing which voters voted in the most recent election, we built a map of voter turnout for various precincts and affiliations. Code for the analysis can be examined here.
