Our fourth annual “Clink and Think” Quiz Bash Fundraiser on Oct. 25 raised a record $22,000 in support of Spotlight PA’s State College regional bureau! All proceeds will support investigative and public-service journalism in State College and north-central Pennsylvania.

Thank you to Katie O’Toole, event chair, and her committee: Mary Lou Bennett, R Thomas Berner, Nancy Chiswick, John Dillon, Constance Gildea, Gregory Guise, Lassie MacDonald, Dana Miller, and John Nichols.

Spotlight PA CEO and President Christopher Baxter and O’Toole led the teams with competitive rounds of questions about Pennsylvania-themed trivia at Axemann Brewery in Bellefonte.

The top four teams received prize packages featuring donations from Appalachian Outdoors, Axemann Brewery, The Bike Roost, the Downtown State College Improvement District, The Family Clothesline, GIANT Food Stores, Good Day Cafe, The Honey Baked Ham Company, Hugh and Janyce Mose, Next LVL Fitness, Raising Cane’s, Rapid Transit Sports, Tait Farm Foods, Village Eatinghouse, and Weis Markets.

Our most grateful thanks to our event sponsors:
